Educational Programme

The children have settled into another busy term of fun learning experiences. The children are very proud of their home grown vegetables and strawberries picked fresh each day.  We have tasted our zucchini with tomato and also in a quiche, yummy. Extending our learning of the natural world the children have learnt about a venus fly trap, bug catchers and much more.  The children are going to visit the Recycling centre to take our recycling that we have collected and sorted in our new recycling bins.  The new worm farm is also becoming popular as we recycle our food scraps there and in the compost bin.

Enrollments

We are interested to hear from any Mums and Dads who would like to put their child on the waiting list.  Although we do have a waiting list we would really like to hear from you earlier.  Feel free to come along and see Debbie about a pre-enrolment form. Or call 362 8606

Working Bee and special thanks

To the Mums and Dads who came along to our working bee last weekend.  We achieved all of our goals to improve our gardens by making them atheistically pleasing and also low maintenance.

Thank you to those parents that helped on the day it was a great effort.

Our next step is to bark some of our gardens and to plant new plants for the scented garden. We are also adding a carpentry area below the deck which will provide much improved area for building projects.

Lawn mowing – If there is anyone in the community who is available with mower or weed eater to occasionally attend to our lawns please see Debbie

Rubbish bin

We have a black rubbish bin in the playground area which visitors to also use when visiting the playground. This can be found on the deck or by the back fence.
