Dear Landcare Okareka volunteers and supporters

Thank you to everyone who came and helped with last month's planting Working Bee along side the new walking track at Lake Okareka. Although the weather was not great, we still managed to get around 250 plants in the ground and all finished before 11.30 am. Great work and many thanks to those who braved the inclement weather.

THIS MONTH'S WORKING BEE - Saturday 23rd July 2016

WHERE: Planting further along the new walking track from the Boyes beach end.
Please park in the Boyes beach car park and walk across Boyes beach reserve to the Te Waiariki Purea Trust recreation shed. Health and Safety briefing and sign in at 9 am.
WHAT TO BRING: Suitable warm clothing and strong footwear (please bring rain gear as it could be wet again!), gardening gloves and a spade for planting, if you have one.

We will bring drinking water and morning tea for everyone.
Everyone is welcome - work suitable of all ages. Children need to be under supervision of parents as there is water nearby! Hoping to see many of you on Saturday!

Kind regards
