This Month's Working Bee is to plant 500 New Zealand plants within the Tikitapu Scenic Reserve. These plants have come via Te Arawa Lakes Trust and Dept of Conservation. They are being supplied by the management of the Bomb Comp, and event which was held last summer at Lake Tikitapu. The provision of plants was part of their resource consent requirements to hold that event. This planting will be a joint working bee of Landcare Okareka, Rotorua Branch Forest and Bird and Rotorua Botanical Society.
