Thank you to everyone who came to help at last month's working bee at Boyes beach. The area looks quite tidy now - thanks to Castlecorp who came and mulched up all of the slash and took that away. We hope to carry out some planting in this area over the winter.
This Month's Working Bee:
When: Saturday 26th March 2016 (Easter weekend Saturday) from 9 am to 12 noon
Where: Meet at Steep Street Reserve
What: Tidying up several plantings areas around the settlement - plantings and track between Steep St reserve and Boyes beach; Boyes beach gardens, toilet gardens at Steep St, Boyes beach, Acacia Road, power pole garden corner of Acacia Road (if time) and Loop Road, Hall gardens needing to do this again because of the rain that we have had over summer and the incredible growth a plants - and weeds!
What to Bring: suitable clothing and footwear, gardening gloves and tools (secateurs, loppers, hedge clippers, rake, spade, wheel barrow - if you have one)
We will provide drinking water and morning tea. Everyone welcome - lots of jobs for people of all capabilities. Hoping to see many of you, if you have an hour or two to spare on Easter Saturday.
