Aquatic Weed Spraying - Rotorua Lakes

Boat-based aquatic weed spraying within the Rotorua lakes is scheduled to commence from Monday 5 December through to Friday 16 December 2016.  The following sites are programmed for treatment with the herbicide, diquat, pending suitable conditions:

1. Lake Ōtakaina – Tauranganui Bay/Public Boat Ramp
2. Lake Rerewhakaaitu – Homestead Arm
3. Lake Rotoehu – Ōtautū Bay
4. Lake Rotorua – Kawaha Point
5. Lake Rotoiti – Gisborne Point
6. Lake Rotoiti – Te Ruato Bay
7. Lake Rotoiti – Ōkahutoroa Bay/Cherry Bay
8. Lake Rotoiti – Okawa Bay
9. Lake Rotoiti – Te Ti Bay
10. Lake Rotoiti – Okere Inlet
11. Lake Rotoiti – Otaramarae Boat Ramp
12. Lake Rotoiti – Kakaho Bay
13. Lake Rotoiti – Wairau Bay
14. Lake Rotomā – Matahi Boat Ramp
15. Lake Tarawera – Boat Shed Bay
16. Lake Tarawera – Kōtukutuku Bay/The Landing
17. Lake Tarawera – Stoney Point
18. Lake Tarawera – Humphries Bay
19. Lake Tarawera – Te Rātā Bay/Hot Water Beach
20. Lake Ōkareka – Boyes Beach
