Hi there Lake Okareka Walking Track Volunteers and supporters
Season's Greetings! Hopefully everyone is well rested after the Christmas and New Year break.
Our two stalwart volunteers Brian Law and Mike Goodwin have continued working on during this time, so some of you who haven't seen the track for a while are in for some nice surprises. The track is now getting a large number of visitors, both runners and walkers.
Working Bees Programme:
Wednesday afternoons after work from 4.30pm / 5.00 pm through to around 6.00 or 6.30 pm

Please also diary in main monthly Working bee for Saturday 30th January 2016.
This Wednesday 13th January 2016 meet at the DOC camp car park, 226 Millar Road, Lake Okareka from 4.30 pm - 5.00 pm and go along the camp road and up past the 2 end toilets, to find where the work will be happening.
Please wear suitable clothing and strong footwear, bring gardening gloves and any/all of the following tools if you have them: spade, rake, loppers, pruning saw. Also bring some water and a snack with you.
