Thank you to all of the volunteers who came to last month's Landcare Okareka working bee along the Lake Okareka Walkway.
We got a lot of work completed and it was a lovely fine morning to be out and about.
THIS MONTH'S LANDCARE OKAREKA WORKING BEE
WHEN: Saturday 27th May 2017 from 9 am until 12 noon
WHERE: Planting on areas adjacent to the new Lake Okareka Community Walking Track.
Please park in the car park area at the DOC camp, 226 Millar Road. We will be planting on areas near the new walking track from the DOC camp end.
WHAT TO BRING: Please wear suitable clothing - you may need wet weather gear, if it looks like rain. Gardening gloves, strong footwear. Bring spades suitable for planting. Water bottle.
We will have drinking water available and we will provide morning tea.
Hoping to see many of you on Saturday.
